The Federal Ministry of Health announced that contracts were signed in Sarajevo with representatives of public health institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which allocated a total of 1,800,000 KM from the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The contracts were signed by the Federal Minister of Health, Nediljko Rimac, with the representatives of the health institutions that were entitled to the funds following the public invitation of the Federal Ministry of Health.
The press release states that the funds are provided by the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025 as part of the transfer “Current transfer to other levels of government and funds – transfer for rehabilitation of health institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, and are intended for the purchase of medical and related equipment, as well as the reconstruction, adaptation and rehabilitation of existing facilities of public health institutions.
– With these funds, we provide concrete support to health institutions, in order to improve working conditions and ensure better quality and more accessible health services for the citizens of the Federation of BiH – said Minister Rimac.
The Ministry states that the funds were received by the Health Center “Dr. Mustafa Šehović” Tuzla (200,000 KM), then the Health Center Konjic (187,893 KM), the Institute of Public Health BPK (25,000 KM), the Cantonal Hospital “Dr. Safet Mujić” Mostar (197,885 KM), the Health Center Kakanj (46,884 KM), the Cantonal Hospital Livno (187,561 KM), the Cantonal Hospital Orašje (166,481 KM), Travnik Hospital (179,817 KM), Travnik Health Center (51,799 KM), Jablanica Health Center (112,498 KM), Tomislavgrad Health Center (89,625 KM), Busovača Health Center (48,617 KM), Rama Health Center (61,350 KM) and Konjic General Hospital (111,233 KM), as well as the “Dr. Isak” Health Center Samokovlija” Goražde (133,357 KM).
The allocation of funds aims to improve working conditions and ensure the continuity of the provision of health services, while strengthening the capacity of the health system and unifying the rights of insured persons in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Ministry of Health announced.
