The Directorate of FC Sarajevo announced a statement on the occasion of the discussion on the possible performance of the team in the cantonal league, by clearing that such a scenario is not an option.

“In connection with the discussions on the Eventual Participation of the B team of FK Sarajevo in the cantonal league, we would like to inform the public that B Tim FC Sarajevo has no intention of playing in that competition.
After additional efforts invested in the development of B team, in the past period and detailed professional analysis, it was concluded that the cantonal league, with all its participants, cannot offer the level of competitive intensity and professional ambience that needs our players.
FC Sarajevo Priority is that our B team performs in the second rank of competition in Bosnia and Herzegovina or, if that is not realistic, and the circumstances and development plans require it, in another market that provides appropriate conditions for growth and progress. It is the only frame that makes sense for the club of our ambitions and visions.
We thank everyone who thinks about the benefits of the B team of FK Sarajevo, but at the same time we know that the name of FC Sarajevo will not be the subject of anyone inner fighting or daily political interests.
