Tonighting spectacular opening ceremony officially started games for young athletes with disabilities of the old continent in Istanbul.
More than 650 competitors from the 31 countries in Europe occur on the Games, which is a record of these games. Athletes compete in nine sports.
For the first time in the history of European Paralympic Games, young parasportists from our country that will compete in paraplation. The opening flag carried a young paraplator and a great hope of Ališan Omerbašić.
In addition to Ališan, Ismail Zulfići and Ismail Barlov also perform. Our swimmers perform in the qualifiers tomorrow – Barlov and Zulfić in the discipline 50m Delfin, Omerbašić 200m freely and barol in a 150m discipline.
