“The war launched against Iran continues to engulf the region in blood and powder, with rockets hitting innocent children while attending school,” Erdogan told leaders of the provincial organizations of his Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in Ankara, referring to a bombed school in Minab, Iran.
Erdogan warned that the Netanyahu government is not only targeting Iran, but is also gradually implementing plans to invade Lebanon.
“Turkey does not differentiate between its brothers and neighbors and does not stand aside while they suffer,” Erdogan added.
Erdogan described Israel’s decision not to allow Muslims to perform the Eid prayer in Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa mosque as a brazen attack on the faith of two billion Muslims, because it was the first time since 1967 that the Eid prayer in Al-Aqsa was prevented.
“The right of Muslims to pray in Al-Aqsa cannot be taken away, blocked or prohibited, regardless of the excuses,” the Turkish leader added, criticizing the Israeli government.
