Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said His colleague Donald Trump confirmed that he will participate in potential peace talks between Ukraine and Russia in Turkey, if the Russian head of the Vladimir Putin agrees to participate.
On the way back from NATO, where he first met with Trump since he returned to the White House, Erdogan said that the US president said Ankara aimed to gather Russian and Ukrainian leaders in Turkey in peace negotiations.
