Since late yesterday afternoon, firefighters have responded to more than a hundred incidents in Emilia-Romagna due to strong gusts of wind that hit the area.
The most critical incidents took place in the provinces of Ferrara, Modena, Parma and Reggio Emilia, where interventions were primarily focused on securing dangerous trees and fallen branches on the roads, but also on uprooted or unstable billboards, the Italian news agency ANSA reports.
