A small plane traveling from the Kenyan coast crashed on Tuesday, killing all 11 people on board, including foreign nationals, the airline said.
The plane was en route to Kichwa Tembo Airport, located in the Maasai Mara National Park, after taking off from the tourist destination of Diani, when it crashed at around 5.30am local time (02.30 GMT).

The chairman of Mombasa Air Safari, John Cleave, confirmed the accident, saying there were 10 passengers on board – eight Hungarians and two Germans – and a Kenyan pilot.
“Unfortunately, there are no survivors,” he said in his statement, which emphasizes that the company has activated its emergency response team and is cooperating with local authorities.
– Our hearts and thoughts are with the families of all those affected by this tragic accident – the statement added.
Earlier, the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) announced that the plane was carrying 12 people at the time of the crash, without providing further details, but confirmed that government agencies were on the ground to determine the cause of the crash.
In August, a light plane belonging to the humanitarian organization Amref crashed near the capital, Nairobi, killing six people and injuring two others.
