Files in BiH have met the conditions needed to export consumer eggs and categories in the European Union, and now they are now waiting for the European Commission on whether the eggs from our country will be found in that market.
Companies that have met these obligations have long been involved in the whole process, and now they are hoping for a positive outcome.
That they have set a goal to receive a permit for exporting consumer eggs by the end of this year to the EU market, for “Independent Newspapers” confirms Predrag Miličić, co-sitting the coordination committee of poultry in BiH, which is also the director of “aggres” from the Donji Žabar.
As it says, this is a long-lasting process, and reminds that the only company is the only company from BiH that has access to the European market for B categories, ie eggs for industrial processing.
“In that process, since 2006. years, and the activities have been particularly intensified in the last eight years, and BiH in December 2019 was finally approved for that market. When it comes to the request of BH. manufacturers for exporting fresh consumer eggs, we had additional requirements of the European Commission, and producers, in cooperation with the BiH Veterinary Office, and the Ministries of Republika Srpska and FBiH, submitted all the requested data in the Veterinary Office and submitted are analyzes for the last three years, ie the period from 2021. until 2023. years. In the next month, even better data will be delivered, because we have greater coverage and number of analyzes made on all registered consumer egg producers in BiH, and we want it in a timely seat in order to plan the European Commission’s visit to our market, “says Miličić.
According to him, producers are expecting a positive solution, because they did that to them, and now they are just waiting for the ultimate position of the European Commission.
“If access to the high market of 500 million is obtained, it automatically means significant capacity lifting, new investment and employment, which would certainly be a great thing for each manufacturer. Me, as a man, it is a great inspiration and the price of thirty-year-old work in this area, “Miličić points out.
In addition to the consumer eggs and categories, the approval of the European Commission for Exports are candidated and breeding eggs, one-day chickens, and fattening material.
Thus, the company “Iradia” from Laktas, which is engaged in the production of breeding eggs, which produce parental chicks that produce parent chicks that produce broiler brailing eggs, is also awaited.
They cannot place them anywhere outside BiH, Serbia and the EU exports, exports to the EU, to open the possibility of expanding production, because now they have no opportunity to place them further.
