The football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered today in Ilidža, where preparations for the upcoming World Cup officially began. Captain Edin Dzeko arrived among the first national team members, who was in a great mood and ready for new challenges with the national team.
Besides Džeka, Nikola Vasilj, Esmir Bajraktarević, Nikola Katic, Dženis Burnić, Ivan Bašić and Osman Hadžikić have already joined the coaching staff, while the full arrival of all players is expected by Monday.
After completing the team, the national team will continue preparations with full intensity, and it is also planned to play two friendly matches before the start of the World Cup.

Sergej Barbarez’s team will first face North Macedonia on Friday in Sarajevo, while the second control match is scheduled for June 6 in the American St. Louis against the Panama team.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate in the World Cup in a group with Canada, Switzerland and Qatar, and fans all over the country are looking forward to new performances of the Dragons on the world’s biggest football stage with great optimism and excitement.
