Croatia first found himself on strike of Donald Trump administration since Trump again became the US president.
Due to the conflict of the U.S. and the European Union around the customs, Croatia is temporarily hosted in the OECD (Economic Cooperation and Development Organization), the Dnevnik Nova TV.
Voting was postponed, and from the RH Government assure that everything will go according to plan.
The OECD is important to the association of developed countries that brings together 38 members, among which the world’s leading economy is like the USA, Germany, Japan and France.
The entry into this organization was one of Croatia’s foreign policy priorities, because membership in that organization brings reputation and economic benefits – from strengthening investment attractiveness to participation in the creation of global economic rules.
However, the procedure for receiving new members requires the consensus of all existing Member States. This is where the problem arose there now – due to the Trump War, which was restarted by the Trump’s Administration with the European Union, the United States have decided to block decisions in international organizations in which the EU has a strong impact.
