Luka Dončić, basketball player of the Los Angeles Lakers, was fined for an inappropriate and unprofessional gesture towards the referee during the game against the New York Knicks.

“Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic was fined $50,000 for an inappropriate and unprofessional gesture towards a referee, James Jones, executive vice president and head of basketball operations, announced today.
The incident occurred 4:35 minutes into the third quarter of the Lakers’ 110-97 win over the New York Knicks on March 8 at Crypto.com Arena,” the NBA website said.
Dončić lost the ball, and then he positioned himself in defense, expecting a foul in the attack.
Although it appears on the video that it was really a foul on Luka, the referees judged otherwise.
When Doncic saw that he did not force a foul in the attack, he pointed his fingers at the referee, alluding to the fact that they were bribed.
