Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen, who collapsed again on the pitch on Sunday after having a pacemaker implanted when he collapsed during a 2021 match, is “feeling good” and should be released from hospital soon, the Danish Football Association (DBU) said on Monday.
I spoke to Christian this morning and he is doing well. He is with his family and is in a good mood. We expect that he will soon receive permission to leave and return homesaid team doctor Morten Boesen, reports Hina.
It has not been announced what caused his collapse or how it will affect his career.

Eriksen (34) collapsed in the 64th minute of a friendly match between Denmark and Ukraine. The medical staff came to his aid, and the match, which was played in Odense, was stopped fifteen minutes later by the referee.
After being helped, the offensive midfielder got up and I left the field myselfthe doctor confirmed after the event. He was then transported to Odense University Hospital.
This incident brought to mind the first match of Euro 2021 in Copenhagen, during which Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest. He was subsequently fitted with a subcutaneous defibrillator and was able to resume his career in early 2022, eight months after the incident.
