Dale-Skjevdal won his first medal and gave the Norwegians a record

On Friday, Norwegian Johannes Dale-Skjevdal won the men’s 15 km mass start biathlon at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Anterselva.

Dale-Skjevdal, hit a perfect 20 out of 20 bullets on the shooting range and thus won the first Olympic medal with which the Norwegians reached a record 17th gold at these Games, surpassing their record of 16 medals from Beijing.

Silver was won by his compatriot Sturla Holm Laegreid, Frenchman Quentin Fillon Maillet was bronze.

Slovenian Jakov Fak, medalist for Croatia in Vancouver 2010, finished the race in sixteenth position.
