The players of Zrinjski are expecting a historic match of the UEFA Conference League playoffs tomorrow when they welcome the Crystal Palace team to their stadium. The match was announced by the head of the coaching staff Igor Štimac and defender Hrvoje Barišić from the hosts.

It is a pleasure to watch such matches, let’s face it, they are different from our championship matches. We have scouted them as much as we can, we will prepare as best we can. There will be no shortage of motives and we will see tomorrow how it will look, Barišić said at the press conference.
On Tuesday, Zrinjski also confirmed the signing of a new player in the defense, namely Fr To Darick Kobie Morris. Štimac explained how this cooperation came about.
We considered the situation in which we found ourselves. The prolongation of Sloba’s return to the training process due to injury suggested us that we need to think about reinforcements in that position and the opportunity came to “grab” Kobie, who is practically our natural born boyfriend. He knows everything, speaks the language excellentlyhe will adapt quickly and I expect that through the training process he will quickly get involved in everything that Zrinjski will need. We have several veterans in that position whom we hold on to and who we try to dose because it is important to us that they last, but we have to insure ourselves because of injuries that occur more often when there are such intense efforts and we have to have coverage in all positions, added Štimac.
The head coach Plemić also hinted at what the Zrinj spectators can expect in this kind of game.
You play with your opponents as much as they allow you, when it comes to stronger teams. One is our desire, and the other is our possibilities. We have a clear plan on how to go into the game, how we want to direct the game, but we will also have a plan to adapt if that initial plan doesn’t go our way. We want to enter with a dense block in order to neutralize their strongest point, which is connected movements that easily break through the opposing lines and enter chances. It should be remembered that Crystal Palace, regardless of the unconvincing results in the domestic championship, dominated in every game and against every opponent, but the results did not go in their favor. Nevertheless, we see our chance, we believe in it and we primarily want to present BiH. football in a quality way and our HŠK Zrinjski also do everything so that our boys gain great experience and enrich their careers with such a performance, Stimac said.
