A little over a year ago, Josip Ćorluka left Zrinjski in Mostar and headed to Poland, where he signed a contract with Zaglebie Lubin SA, the fourth club in his career, which is the two-time champion of Poland (1991, 2007).
In a conversation for portal readers Jabuka.tv the popular Jojo tells it like it is pleased with the results which the club has achieved in the past year.
I came last year in the middle of the season when we were fighting to stay in the Ekstraklasa. It was very difficult, the team lacked confidence, but we managed to stay in the league, stabilize and this season we are much better, in we are at the very top of the Ekstraklasa even though we are only two-thirds of the way into the championshipsays Ćorluka, who shares first place with his club along with Jagiellonia and Lech.

The former player of Zrinjski and Široki Brijeg thinks how it is hard to single out just one reason good results.
In football, there is no formula that brings 100% results. I can say we have by two very good players in every position, which gives us the possibility to maintain the same intensity for the whole 90 minutes.
The healthy competition we have is also transferred to the intensity of training and I think that sets us apart a lot compared to most teams.

When asked to compare the Polish Ekstraklasa and the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which this right winger left a big mark, he says that the biggest difference in the intensity and speed of the game.
We play a lot here slower football. I think that the players are also of better quality, which is normal because the clubs are richer and have bigger budgets. The 31-year-old man from Grudža does not think too much about the distant future. He has a contract with Zaglebie until June 2027.

I am glad that Zrinjski continued with the same pace and quality, especially in European competitions, which confirms that the results from before are not a coincidence. I watch almost every game and cheer, but I spent five wonderful years there.

Plemići played two European games, against Raków and Dinamo Kyiv, in Poland, but due to club commitments, he was unable to attend the matches.
Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to go to any of the games. My obligations at the club did not coincide with me, and it was quite far from me, five to six hours away.
Ćorluka started his career in HNK Grudeand he gained affirmation as a player Široki Brijeg for which he played from 2014 to 2019. He says that he follows the games of his former club.

I have a lot of friends who are currently playing in the club. I think the boys are playing good, quality football.
