The famous Sarajevo company Klas dd plans to expand its production and open a new plant in Srebrenica, which, according to estimates, bring up to 150 new jobs. This investment is an important step towards strengthening the local economy and opening new employment opportunities.
During the visit of the representatives of the company, the Chief of Municipality of Miloš Vučić, both parties confirmed the willingness to cooperate in order to develop economic activities and increases production capacities in Srebrenica.
The Class delegation was led by the Director General of Madjid Avdagić, who discussed the Precislation of the Proceedings for the implementation of the planned project. Vučić reminded that it was about the continuation of conversations that started three months ago, and now they cross the practical realization phase.
“Class is already operating in Srebrenica through a smaller plant, and now they are planning a new plant in the confectionery industry. We expect to have adequate space for their installation soon. This project will be able to open new jobs, and in the coming period, up to 150 workers”said the Chief Vučić.
He emphasized that the local government is actively working on creating a better business environment and support investors, highlighting three key priorities of the municipality – water supply, economy and education.
“Our goal is to make Srebrenica the center of the economic development of the Zvornik region and the place where citizens have more opportunities for work and progress”Added Vučić.
General Manager Madjid Avdagić confirmed that the company has already purchased a modern production line for confectionery products worth about 70,000 KM, which will be installed in Srebrenica as soon as appropriate space is provided. “The Class has been present in Srebrenica for ten years through the production of Bosnian Rahat Lokum, and now we plan additional expansion and introduction of new products. I am convinced that we will launch a new plant in the coming months and increase the number of employees “Avdagic said.
He expressed his satisfaction with the local community, pointing out that he was especially impressed by the openness and understanding of the head of Vučić, which further motivates the company to invest in the development in Srebrenica, writes RTV Srebrenica.
