The Chinese Pharmaceutical Industry is now the second largestie in the world, and makes up about 30 percent of the global share when it comes to innovative medications currently in the research and development phase, the health official said on Friday.
From the beginning of the five-year plan (2021-2025), the country was approved by placing 387 pediatric medications and 147 drugs, the Deputy Head of the National Administration for Medical Products, at the State Council Conference, reported Xinhua.
Yang emphasized the comprehensive measures of China with the aim of ensuring drug safety, improving the development of the pharmaceutical industry and meeting the needs of citizens for medicines during the period of a five-year plan.
