China launched the dispute at the World Trade Organization (WTO) due to the customs in Chinese goods, which was introduced by the President of the United States Donald Trump, published that Hina’s seat, Hina, referring to Reuters.
Trump ordered the duties on the merchandise on the goods from Mexico, Canada and China, demanding the flow of Fentanila, as well as illegal immigrants in the case of Canada and Mexico, but later frozen the customs of two North American countries.
China, to whom Trump introduced a duty of ten percent to the export of goods, promised to challenge that step in the WTO.
In a statement cited by the WTO, the Chinese government stated how the measures appear to be not in line with the obligations of the United States, according to the agreement that led to the creation of that trade body.
“China reserves the right to introduce additional measures and requirements regarding the issues listed here, during the consultation, as well as a possible application for the establishment of the panel,” states in the Chinese statement.
