At least five people were wounded in the attack with a knife not far from the central Dam Square in Amsterdam, the police announced.
According to the first information, one person was arrested, but the motive of the attack is not known for now.
Local media report that the police curl the area on Sint Nicolaasstraat Street and the Square Dam. On the recordings published on social networks, it can be seen that the helicopter lands on the square, while they are injured to the hospital.

The attack happened something before 15:30 local time. The De Telegraaf says that at least fourteen police vehicles arrived at the place of events within 15 minutes and one policeman on the engine.
