The team from Sarajevo opened the duel aggressively and quickly created a double-digit advantage thanks to solid defense and safe execution in attack. The visiting team was unable to find an answer to the opponent’s intensity, so it already trailed 25:14 after the first quarter.
In the continuation of the meeting, the advantage of the “students” constantly grew. The home players easily found solutions in the attack, while the Tuzla team occasionally managed to score points, but without a serious threat to the result. At halftime, the score was 45:29, and the winner of this duel was already hinted at.
The third period brought the complete dominance of the Sarajevo team, while on the other hand, Sloboda was unable to connect the attacks or stop the surges of the local basketball players.
Before the last ten minutes, the question of the winner was solved because the result was a high 67:33. However, the home team did not slow down even in the end, so the advantage continued to grow to a big 47 point difference.
The final score of 88:45 best illustrates the balance of power on the floor and the well-deserved placement of the Sarajevo team in the final of the championship.
