The basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved a convincing victory against Switzerland with a score of 84:60 in the match of the third round of World Cup qualifiers in a packed Mejdan.
The game started tightly and with few points, especially in the first quarter. In the opening minutes, the guests relied on a cheerful Schumacherwho scored 11 points already in the first period and represented the biggest threat to the home team. However, the end of the first half belonged to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Two consecutive three-pointers by Vrabac and Sulejmanović brought safety back into the game, so we went to the break feeling confident 41:27.
Lazić scored on several occasions with an additional free throw, while Alibegović and Atić made a significant contribution in both directions. Switzerland tried to reduce the deficit with three-point shots, but without much success. Strong defense and dominance in the racket brought BiH a new series of points, which increased the advantage to 20 points before the end of the third quarter.
In the last ten minutes of the meeting BH. team she routinely controlled events on the floor and brought the match to an end without major difficulties, registering a well-deserved and convincing victory.
He was the most effective in the ranks of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sparrow with 15 points, Lazic added 14, while Simanic the match ended with 11 points scored.
In Switzerland, the best individual was Alexander Schumacher with 19 points.
