Both matches will be played in Montenegro on January 9 and 11, 2026, and the matches will serve as the main preparation for the Montenegrins for the EHF Euro 2026, confirmed this for the official page of the BiH Handball Federation, the director of the BiH national team, Elmir Grabčanović.
– We are happy that before the play-offs in March, we will have such a strong selection for our rivals. I would like to thank the host for the invitation, this will certainly mean a lot to us and I believe that we will make the most of these matches. I must emphasize the excellent cooperation with the director of the Montenegrin national team, Vasko Ševaljević, who was as fair as possible in our discussions and the agreement at the end, and our Association has already confirmed the departure to Montenegro – said Grabčanović.
These two matches of the senior national teams are a continuation of the good cooperation between the two federations, after the recent friendly matches of the women’s cadet selections, and it is planned to continue the cooperation in the organization of the matches of the men’s junior selections, announced the Handball Federation of BiH.
