The adopted Law on Petroleum Derivatives are significantly tightened the quality of the quality of fuel in the market. This means that citizens will have access to better fuel, with stricter control, enabled to add to the LPG, which directly contributes to the protection of European standards, stated the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić.
The BiH Federation Parliament adopted the Law on Amendments to the Law on Petroleum Derivatives in the Federation of BiH. After the law has previously supported the House of Representatives, today, and the House of Peoples, which the law was fully adopted.
“The law we adopted today enables the Federation of BiH to effectively protect the quality of citizens, environment and vehicles. We remove outdated norms and create the conditions for the new Rulebook,” Minister Lakić said.
By adopting the law, the conditions for harmonization with stricter fuel quality standards, which was previously prohibited, introducing the control of the LPG (liquefied control and monitoring of petroleum products in accordance with the new rules.
“The Federation of BiH must no longer be a place where the fuel of poor quality can be found in the market. This law ensures that monitoring can be implemented, protecting the health of citizens and the environment,” Minister Lakić added, writing Akta.
