Posušje is expecting a visit to Doboj in a good mood, since in the previous round they beat the defending champion Zrinjski at their Mokro Doc, which is Posušje’s first home victory since 2008.
“A great victory, we are happy that we were able to make the city and the fans happy. I am very happy with the performance of all the players, because they all showed that they can play at a high level,” coach Bašić reflected on that victory.
As for Saturday’s opponent, he emphasized that Sloga is a very experienced team with several players who played in Posušje.
“They have a certain pressure because they haven’t won in a long time. They can show a lot, but we are maximally focused and ready for the game,” said Bašić, who will not have a full squad at his disposal.
The game in Doboj will be missed by the injured Ivan Posavec and Ivan Novoseelec and the “suspended” Mario Čuić, while Valentino Majstorović is on leave due to the birth of a child.
After the clash in Doboj, the program of the 26th round will continue with the Saturday match between Borca and Radnik (6:30 p.m.), and the remaining three matches will be played on Sunday.
Široki Brijeg and Željezničar will play at Pecara from 3 p.m., Zrinjski – Rudar will meet at 5:30 p.m. in Mostar, and Velež will host Sarajevo at 7:45 p.m. at the Asim Ferhatović Hase stadium.
