Today, the Turkish police arrived at the center of Istanbul at least 30 people who tried to participate in the procession of pride, which the authorities banned, said the opposition politician.
The recordings that Reuters saw show cops fighting with a group of activists who wear flags in rainbow colors in the city center before they brought them into their vehicles.
Kezban Konukcu, a representative from the Prokurde Party Dem, which was on the procession, told Reuters that at least 30 people were detained. The police did not respond to the comment request.

Istanbul Governor Cabinet rated earlier that the pride procession was illegal and that the groups promoted to act “illegally”.
