The conflict between the United States of America, Israel and Iran is entering its second week, and the situation in the Middle East is becoming increasingly tense.
During the last hours, new missile attacks, airstrikes and incidents were recorded in several countries of the region, while at the same time the political and economic consequences of the conflict are growing.
So far, there is no official explanation after the sirens sounded early this morning at the Turkish Incirlik Air Base, an important NATO facility where American soldiers are stationed, not far from the southeastern city of Adana.

According to a report by the AFP agency, residents of Adana, which is located about 10 kilometers from the base, were woken up at around 3:25 in the morning by sirens that sounded for approximately five minutes, writes the business portal Ekonomim.
The portal also states that a red alert has been announced in the base.
The Israeli army announced that missiles were detected early this morning launched from the territory of Iran towards Israel. According to their statements, the attack was recorded around six in the morning, after which Israel launched a retaliatory action.
About an hour later, Israeli forces launched what they described as a “wave of powerful strikes” targeting Iranian infrastructure.
At the same time, the Israeli Defense Forces carried out an attack in Lebanon, where they targeted a river crossing that they claim was used by members of Hezbollah, an organization supported by Iran. Operations in Lebanon were further expanded, and the area for the evacuation of civilians was almost doubled.
Big damage in Iran
The Iranian Red Crescent has published data according to which US-Israeli attacks have caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure across the country.
According to their information, 24,531 civil buildings were damaged, including 19,775 residential units. More than 4,500 business facilities were also affected, which could have serious economic consequences for the population.
Attacks also hit educational institutions. 69 schools were damaged, while almost two hundred students and teachers were injured.
The humanitarian infrastructure itself suffered. 16 Red Crescent centers were damaged, 21 rescue vehicles and 19 ambulances were destroyed.
Strait of Hormuz and global consequences
One of the biggest problems for the world economy has become the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a key sea passage through which a large part of the world’s oil and gas trade passes.
According to information from Washington, US authorities allegedly underestimated Iran’s readiness to close the strategic passage in response to military strikes, which led to serious economic and military consequences.
The situation is further complicated by problems in the energy sector. The Qatari company QatarEnergy has temporarily suspended production of liquefied natural gas following a drone attack, which has put pressure on the global energy market. Qatar is one of the world’s key exporters of this energy and participates with about 20 percent of the global supply.
New incidents in the region
Tensions have spread to other Gulf countries. Saudi Arabia said its forces had intercepted several enemy drones heading towards Riyadh. Three more drones were shot down over Al Kharj province and the Rub al Khali desert.
In Oman, a downed drone fell into an industrial zone in Sohar province, killing two foreign workers and injuring several others.
Explosions were also recorded in Dubai, where thick black smoke rose above part of the city after the incident in the industrial zone.

Political tensions and international reactions
The conflict also caused strong political reactions around the world. Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said that the United States of America is trying to divide Europe in order to prevent its political and military rise.
In the United States, California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized Donald Trump’s statements about rising oil prices.
“Don’t worry, America. Your gas prices are going up, but that’s why Trump is making great money,” Newsom wrote on the X social network.
Trump previously stated that rising oil prices benefit the US economy because the US is the world’s largest oil producer.
Warnings from Iran
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard has warned that it will react harshly to any new protests in the country, but also to “new external actions of the enemy”. In a televised statement, they said that any attempt to destabilize the government will be suppressed even more strongly than during the earlier riots.
At the same time, the military situation in the Middle East is further complicated, and more and more countries are involved in security preparations.
As the exchange of attacks between Iran and Israel continues and the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, the international community is increasingly warning that the conflict could have far-reaching security and economic consequences around the world.
