Los Angeles Clippers basketball players were defeated on their floor 115-146 by Boston Celtics. After a break due to injury, Ivica Zubac played for the hosts.
The Croatian center spent 20:47 minutes in the game, achieving a performance of four baskets (field shot 2/6), seven rebounds, one assist and one block. Zubac missed the previous five games due to an ankle injury.
The first name of the meeting was great Jaylen Brown who tied the career record with 50 points and led the Celtics to another victory. Derrick White added 29 points for Boston, and Anfernee Simmons added 15.
The Clippers, who ended their streak of six victories, were the best Kawhi Leonard and John Collins with 22 baskets each. James Harden added 18 points with 12 assists, and Derrick Jones Jr. he scored 19 points before leaving the floor in the fourth quarter after injuring his knee.
Philadelphia was better than away from home New York with 130-119. It was New York’s third loss in a row and now New York, the second team in the East, has only one win more than Boston.
Tyrese Maxey was inspired by Philadelphia and scored 36 points with eight rebounds and four assists at Madison Square Garden. Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe scored 26 points each for the guests. Embiid added 10 rebounds and five assists to that.
The first name of New York was, of course, Jalen Brunson who scored 31 points with four assists and four rebounds.
“Triple-double” by Deni Avdia
Deni Avdija played another great game, and it’s his Portland celebrated at San Antonio with 115-110. Avdija scored 29 points with 10 assists and 11 rebounds. He was followed very well by Donovan Clingan, who scored 24 points, and also had 12 rebounds and four assists.
All members of San Antonio’s top five scored 14 or more points, and the best was Luke Kornet with 23 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Victor Wembanyama did not play for Spurs due to injury.
Kevin Durant scored 34 points for Houstonand he made seven assists and five rebounds, but it was all too little on the road to Dallas who after four defeats finally won. It was 110-104 for Dallas, who was led to the celebration by Anthony Davis with 26 points, 12 rebounds, five blocks and three assists.
Houston lost the game after winning four in a row.
Minnesota stopped the streak Miami out of four wins, winning at Florida 125-115. Anthony Edwards and Naz Reid scored half of the visitors’ points. The former gave 33 with five assists, while the latter scored 29 with four rebounds as a bench player.
