The strong earthquake of 5.2 degrees per Richter scale hit the Greek Peninsula Atos, the European-Mediterranean seismological institute.
How can be seen from the folder of the affected area, the earthquake struck the west coast of St. Up, not far from the Dohijar and Constamonite monastery, about 10-15 kilometers south of the Serbian monastery Hilandar.
The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of five kilometers.
Greek media reported that the earthquake was 5.3 degrees, as well as being felt in Thessaloniki.
For now, there is no report on possible injuries or material harm.
Immediately after this earthquake, this area was affected by three more weaker earthquakes, of which the strongest was 4.1, transferred by Tanjug.
