The RS entity president of the BiH judiciary, Milorad Dodik, held an extraordinary press conference on which he reiterated a series of threats to the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, denying their legitimacy and continuing the political rhetoric of conflict and division.
Dodik claimed that “in RS does not have visible movements that could jeopardize security,” while at the same time insisting on non-compliance with the decisions of the judicial institutions.
“The Court of BiH, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the SIPA and HJPCs, are forbidden to operate in the territory of RS and we will seek to spend those laws, openly denying state institutions and threatening their complete removal from this entity.
He also attacked the BiH Constitutional Court, claiming that there are “suspicious judges” which, according to him, “they have no right to make decisions.” This attack on the key judicial institution of the state is the continuation of its strategy for the subordination of the Constitutional Order of BiH.
Dodik, expected, presented the charges of political parties from Sarajevo, calling them “Muslim nationalists” and accusing them that they want to “conquer RS”. Such rhetoric, based on the expansion of fear and division, further contributes to instability in the country, while Dodik still tries to avoid responsibility before the BiH judiciary.
When it comes to the European Union, Dodik reiterated its Eurosceptic attitude, claiming that RS “has no benefits from European processes” and that the EU is located in a big crisis.
“We need to see well and think how to move through that process,” Dodik said, clearly suggesting that RS does not intend to actively participate in integrations that are the key goal of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Also, Dodik discovered that one of the heads of the SDS would pass to another political party, emphasizing that it would not be the last exit from the party.
“I am satisfied with the fact that the parliamentary and parliamentary majority is lasting,” Dodik said, giving the knowledge that the stability of his authorities, despite growing political pressure, is now insured, writes for now Radio Sarajevo.
