Today, Europol announced that investors from 35 countries have exposed a large pedophile network on Darknet, which had as many as 1.8 million users around the world.
The platform called “Kidflix” in the meantime has been extinguished, and 79 people were arrested in the operation.
According to Europol statement, the action was led by the Bavarian Crime Office, and the searches were conducted in 31 countries. Almost 1,400 suspects were identified, and in Germany, an investigation against 103 people is currently being conducted, index.hr.
The platform users were available more than 91,000 videos with explicit abuse of children.
On average, three and a half videos were published every hour. International action was coordinated by Europol.
