The hosts of this year’s celebration were Majlis Islamic Community Stolac and the BZK “Revival” Chair, and the program gathered numerous citizens and representatives of public and cultural life.
At the beginning of the conference, Mr. MR. Esmir Bašić, President of the Association of Bosniak Non-Governmental Organizations, which pointed out the importance of preserving the national identity and culture of memory.
The elocariors of the conference were dr. Adem Zalihić, Academician Enver Halilović et al. Sedad Dedić, who talked about the importance of Bosniak Parliament in his presentations, his historical decisions, as well as the role he had in the affirmation of Bosniak names and identity.
The celebration of the Day of Bosniaks in Stolac has elapsed in a dignified atmosphere, with a message that tradition and the bodies of the Parliament must be nurtured and transferred to new generations.
