The premiere edition of the Tour of Bosnia and Herzegovina leads the caravan through 390 kilometers and over 4,400 meters of ascent, connecting the Olympic city of Sarajevo with the Adriatic pearl of Neuma.
While the first two stages will be a festival speed and strength of sprintersone stock stands tall above the rest as the “judge” of the race. After two mostly flat stages designed to show the maximum speed of the professional peloton, the third stage is where the “conservation of strength” tactic ends. Here, not only sprint finishes are expected, but an “all-out” war between climbers and team leaders who want to make a difference in time and secure victory on points in the general standings.

Such a situation creates the perfect “tension” in the peloton – the sprinters will try to survive the hill sections in order to preserve the advantage gained by the bonuses, while the climbers will use every percentage of the slope above Stolac to turn those same seconds into dust and ashes.
Every attack on the Herzegovinian karst will be potentially victorious for the overall standings, and bonuses from Konjic, Čapljina, Grud and Stolac could ultimately be the tipping point in the balance that will decide who will lift the winning cup in Neum.
