The president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vico Zeljković, reacted today after the chaos with fan tickets for the upcoming match against Romania.

“Regarding the information that has appeared in the public about fan tickets for the upcoming match against Romania, I would like to clarify a few facts.
The association did not prohibit anyone from buying tickets. The “BH Fanatikos” group has already bought 868 tickets online for the stand where they traditionally cheer, so it is not true that they have been denied access to the tickets.
During yesterday and today, the issue related to the groups “Ljuti Krajišnici” and “Ljuti Krajišnici 2013”, which also successfully bought their tickets, was resolved.
The interest was extremely high – thousands of requests were received, which significantly exceeded the capacity of the stadium and objectively made it difficult to distribute tickets.
A new group “BH Hooligans” also appeared, which also submitted a request for a certain number of tickets and got the opportunity to buy part of the tickets. Whether they want to reconcile relations with other groups is their internal matter and the Alliance does not interfere in it.
I would like to emphasize that “BH Fanatikos”, although they have their own views towards the Association or me personally – which they have the right to – have never been prevented from attending matches, not even this time.
Unfortunately, their behavior so far has caused significant financial damage to the Association – fines in the amount of around one million KM have been paid due to incidents at matches.
While this does not remove their right to criticize the Alliance or me personally, the facts of damage and liability are clear.
The association has already set clear conditions and sanctions for inappropriate behavior in the stands.
The first major incident or disorder may result in fans being banned from subsequent matches, including matches that would be played in front of empty stands.
Unfortunately, inaccurate and one-sided information appears in the media, which creates unnecessary tensions.
Who is behind such spins and with what goal – I would not comment, but I can say that the Association remains open to dialogue with all fan groups.
Our door is always open, but the dialogue must be based on facts, mutual respect and responsibility – not on unverified claims and media pressure.”
