After the shooting on Bondi Beach, it has been confirmed that there are more dead, according to the New South Wales Police. For now, they have not provided information on the exact number of victims.
Police say the two attackers have been “neutralized”, while an active police operation is underway to clear the area of suspected improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Two police officers were also reportedly injured, although the severity of their injuries is not yet known. Police also said it is unknown at this time if the incident is related to the Hanukkah event that was being held on the beach.
In the meantime, there was also a statement from Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who described the scenes in Bondi as “shocking and disturbing”.
He said he had spoken to the commissioner of the Australian Federal Police and the Premier of New South Wales.
“We are working closely with NSW Police and will provide further information as new facts are confirmed,” he said.
“Police and emergency services are on the ground and are working to save lives,” he added.
