Association of sports fishermen “BLINKER” Kalošević-Tešanj organizes again this year free Small fishing schoolintended for all interested boys and girls aged from 7 to 14 years.
The start of school is scheduled for August 10, 2026 (Monday)and the gathering of participants will be held in 18:00 at Lake Mrkotić. Educational lectures and practical training will last until August 14every day from 18:00 to 19:30 hourswith the possibility of changing the date depending on the weather and conditions on the field.
Applications for participation do not need to be made in advance, but all interested parties will be able to apply on the spot during the implementation of the project “Small Fishing School 2026”.
For all participants who successfully complete the training, USR “BLINKER” Kalošević-Tešanj provided valuable prizes, including a diploma on successful completion of the training, an annual fishing license and fishing accessories.
After finishing the school, the participants will have the opportunity to show their acquired knowledge at a competition in catching fish with a hook on a float, where they will fight for prizes and medals intended for the best competitors.
The Association notes that participants who have already attended the Small Fishing School in previous years and received rods and nets should bring their own equipment, so that there will be enough equipment for new participants as well.
The organizers invite all children who want to learn the basics of sport fishing, socialize and spend time in nature to join them at Lake Mrkotić.
