Two ships sailed on Sunday night from the Greek Island Syros to join Global Sumud Floti, an international mission that aimed to interrupt the Israeli blockade of Gaza and submit humanitarian aid, AFP reporters reported.
About 500 people gathered at the port in Ermopoulis, shouting “Freedom Palestinia”, to see the two ships under the Greek flag, Oxygen and Ilektra, who wore helping a hawthorn, along with five and eight crew members on board.
