US President Donald Trump described Turkey today as a good place and praised her president of Recep Tayyip Erdogan as a good leader.
Trump said that in the White House during a meeting with candidates for ambassadors, where each of them presented himself and the country he was nominated for.
Tom Barrack, a candidate for the American Ambassador in Turkey, spoke about that country and pointed out its historical importance.
“Turkey is one of the oldest civilizations and seeks peace, prosperity and security program,” Barrack said.
“Good place, good leader too,” Trump added to the Barrack’s statement.
Trump was announced by Barrack’s Nomination for Ambassador in December.
