The Assembly of the Tuzla Canton adopted the Law on Salaries and Fees in the TK authorities, which opened the door to increase salaries to politicians.
This law, as it stands out, is a combination of two laws that are in force, which regulate the area of salaries and benefits of elected officials, advisors, the cantonal attorney and its deputies, as well as civil servants and employees.
The adoption of this unique law was complied with the recommendations of the Office for the Audit of the Institutions of the Federation of BiH, which in its reports stated the need to combine laws and harmonization with federal regulations.
This decision provoked turbulent reactions and political parties in Tuzla, and among those who have advertised were both people and justice.

According to the NIP statement, selected officials in the TK Assembly have received a salary of 1,543 km so far plus a lump whose amount was three or four times the base. According to the adopted amendments to the Law on Salaries and Fees, it will now be paid to about 3,500 KM, plus a flatal whose amount is not yet known.
The basis for the salary calculation of 454 km, the Prime Minister of the Canton will have a coefficient 9.8 which means that its total income (salary, warm meal and other fees) will be 5,000 KM. Almost 5,000 KM will also have the chairman of the TC Assembly, while the ministers will have 4,500 KM.
Although DF, the DF Cantonal Committee president of the Tuzla Canton, Zlatan Begić, expressed dissatisfaction with such a vote, and asked the government to suspend the decision.
