The San Antonio Spurs beat the home New York Knicks 115-111 in the third game of the NBA Finals last night in Madison Square Garden and cut their four-game winning streak to 1-2.

Spurs are in the first half let go of a 12-point lead and at halftime it was 64-57 for the Knicks. Then Champagnie scored the first six points of the second half, and the Spurs shot 50 percent (10 of 20) from the field in the third quarter.
The Spurs led for more than 10 minutes in the final quarter, but then Brunson and Anunoby hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the final 34 seconds to put the Knicks up 111-113 with 9.4 seconds left.
New York is in the final quarter before those two 3-pointers missed ten three-point attempts.
After a timeout, Castle hit two free throws with 6.8 seconds left to give the Spurs a four-point lead.
The Spurs now have a chance to even the series on Wednesday night also at Madison Square Garden.
