The Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton Kenan Magoda has shared on social networks with the message that the history of the Sarajevo sport was printed.
“Today we write the history of sports in Sarajevo Canton!
Today, the Assembly of the Sarajevo Canton, at the proposal of the Ministry of Culture and the Sports, adopted the draft of the new Law on Sports with 21 votes for.
Unfortunately Citizens KS, sports workers and athletes should know, the SDA club and SBiH were against sports, because we are honest when voting against the draft law, vote against athletes, coaches, parents and children. Today, they showed their real face and I am convinced that the citizens would know how to recognize it very quickly.
And we move on. Today we really write the history of sports in Sarajevo Canton! This law is not only a set of members and attitudes, this is the result of the work of reputable professors, sports experts and our celebrated athletes. We first guarantee the financing of sports, we clearly recognize the equal participation of athletes with disabilities and paralymbians, introduce lasting fees for the greatest sports achievements and create society of equal opportunities.
This is not a law of one government or one policy this is the law of all of us, the Law for Athletes, Coaches, Parents, Children and the whole community.
I am sure that after the public hearing, we will all work together behind this law and show how much we really care about the sport and future of our athletes, “Magoda wrote.
