The investigation into the Tuzla Retirement Home, after the tragic fire in which several residents of the Home lost their lives on November 4, has been completed. Another woman, victim of a fire, passed away on Thursday, ST, born in 1941, in UCC Tuzla. So now there are 12 victims of the fire.
In the following period, reports will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton by the Department of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, an expert in electrical engineering and an expert in fire protection and occupational safety.
˝We will inform the public about the causes of the fire when the reports and findings and opinions of experts and investigators of the SKP MUP TK are analyzed. Six men and six women were killed, all residents of the Tuzla Retirement Home. According to the preliminary results of the autopsies performed so far, which were verbally communicated to the Prosecutor’s Office by experts, all 11 people died as a result of suffocation, i.e. carbon monoxide poisoning, in addition to the fact that the body of one victim was also burned. The autopsy of the body of the woman who died today will be performed in the near future, said the spokesman of the TK Prosecutor’s Office, Admir Arnautović.
The initials of the female victims are: RK (born in 1947), R. Dž (born in 1940), ML (born in 1936), ST (born in 1950), HJ (born in 1935) and ST (born in 1941).
The initials of the male victims are: ZB (born 1958), AI (born 1944), JL (born 1944), ZM (born 1952), MM (born 1929) and AP (born 1948).
