Čelik’s unbeaten streak, in fact, is significantly longer and amounts to 22 official consecutive matches without defeat. Namely, at the end of last season, Zenica went nine matches without defeat, so that, after the first 11 rounds, this season they would remain the only unbeaten team in the FBiH First League.
However, we should also add domestic triumphs in the 2nd round of the BiH Federation Cup, in September, against Travnik with 2:0 and in the 1st round, i.e. 1/16 finals of the BiH Cup, last Wednesday, against Posušje with 1:0.
It is interesting that this was the Zenica team’s first triumph against Radnik in the FBiH First League, which defeated them twice in four matches between them and inflicted their last defeat in official matches. It was on April 5 this year, when Radnik won the championship match with 1:0 in Zenica.
Čelik, after the 11th round, shares the leadership position with TOŠK from Tešan, who yesterday on their field, in the derby of this round, defeated Travnik 2:0, who, like Čelik and TOŠK, had 20 points before this round.
