In the headquarters of the Zenica-Doboj canton, the signing of the contract with the beneficiaries of the funds from the program of the expenditure of financial resources of the Office of the Prime Minister ZDK was held today. A total of 39 organizations signed contracts, and the total value of the allocated funds is 89,050 KM.
The signing was attended by the Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, Nezir Pivić, and the Minister of Finance, Dženana Čišija, who congratulated the beneficiaries and expressed the expectation that the projects will contribute to the strengthening of culture, science, art, health, social care, and inter-ethnic and religious tolerance in the ZDK.
– Today we witnessed the signing of contracts with non-governmental organizations that received funds through a public call intended for the implementation of projects from the non-governmental sector. It is important that we have active organizations that contribute to the development of society – said Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.
The president of the Association “Naš most” from Zenica, Zdena Šarić, pointed out that the funds they receive from the Canton, especially from the Prime Minister’s Office, mean a lot to the associations, which in this way make it easier to implement projects.
The president of the Association “Citizens’ Forum of Zenica”, Mirsad Mujkić, praised the cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Office and emphasized that it is a pleasure that the quality of the project they applied for was recognized, and that the support of the Canton is significant for its realization.
– Non-profit associations of citizens do a great job. The public invitations of the Zenica-Doboj Canton are invitations with measure, simplified and accessible, which is to be commended – said the president of the “Zona muzike” Association from Zenica, Josip Dujmović.
