The Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton, on the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, adopted several decisions for the payment of incentives in the total amount of 1,000,000.00 KM.
– With these decisions, we continue the implementation of the Program for the use of incentive funds for agriculture. A decision was made on the payment of funds for raspberry production, somewhere around 430,000 KM. The amount of the incentive, i.e. the purchase price, is 0.70 KM per kilogram, which is the highest purchase incentive price since this incentive has existed at the level of ZDK.
In this way, the Government fulfilled the promise given to raspberry producers that it would do everything to protect and preserve raspberry farming and that the funds allocated for the production of raspberries, blackberries, plantation blueberries and aronia will contribute to the stabilization of raspberry production and preservation of the leadership position in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Also, it is very important to highlight that about 1,90,000 KM was approved for beekeeping and about 170,000 KM for berry production – said the relevant minister, Jasmin Čajić.
He added that the realization of agricultural incentives, which for this year amount to a total of about 6,700,000 KM, is almost completely completed, and what remains to be realized through decisions is about 1,000,000 KM, which is planned to be paid by the end of the year.
The government made a decision on approving funds for the financing of euthanasia and disinfection costs in the amount of 2,626.03 KM, as well as funds for diagnostic testing of animals and official samples by order of the veterinary inspector and strengthening the capacity of the veterinary inspection in the amount of 1,630.00 KM.
Decisions were also made on the approval of funds in the name of support for assistance in special circumstances in the amount of 7,984.00 KM, as well as the payment of funds for registered associations/unions of farmers for the year 2025 in the amount of 80,000.00 KM.
A proposal for amendments to the ZDK Forestry Act was also adopted, which will be submitted to the parliamentary procedure.
