The Ministry of Energy stated that the affected facilities and the oil pipeline have been returned to operational capacity.
Riyadh did not specify who carried out the attacks, but the kingdom has intercepted a large number of Iranian missiles and drones in recent weeks, Reuters reports.
The attacks earlier disrupted key oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical and power facilities in Riyadh, Eastern Province and the industrial city of Yanbu. Saudi Arabia said on Thursday that the attacks reduced production capacity by about 600,000 barrels per day, while the flow through the East-West pipeline was reduced by about 700,000 barrels per day.
This pipeline was the only route for the export of Saudi crude oil due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Reuters reported on Wednesday that Iran attacked the pipeline just hours after the ceasefire was agreed.
The ministry added that the affected volumes were offset from the Manifa oil field, where production was reduced by around 300,000 barrels per day.
Work is underway to restore full capacity at the Khurais facility, which was also hit by the attacks and lost an additional 300,000 barrels per day.
Saudi authorities stressed that a rapid recovery would increase “reliability and continuity of supply to local and global markets.”
