This is a duel that the people of Mostar welcome in a very positive series and in a good mood.
The head of Velež’s professional staff, Ibro Rahimić, addressed the media present in his opening address.
“Duels between Velež and Sarajevo always attract the attention of the public and I believe that our footballers will go into this match very motivated and that we can continue this positive streak. As for the Sarajevo team, our guests tomorrow definitely have quality players, but they are not in an enviable shape at the moment. Regardless, we must go into the game with maximum focus exactly as we went into the match against the Rudar team and I believe in a positive result”.

The goalkeeper Tarik Karić announced the game against Sarajevo to the journalists present.
“We are aware that a very difficult match awaits us, although there is not a single easy match this season. We enter the match in a very good mood, the team is really working very well, the atmosphere in the team is at an enviable level, I would say it has never been better. Tomorrow we will go for three points and I hope that at the end of the game we will have reason to celebrate”.
Coach Rahimić singled out several very good individuals as the greatest strength of the Sarajevo team.
“They are adorned by several really good individuals, who obviously didn’t fit into the team in the best way. However, you never know when a good player can show his best light, and that’s why tomorrow we have to be very careful, maximally focused, be good in positioning and in the duel game and I hope that the result will not fail”.
What is encouraging for Rođene is that in the last eight matches the team has conceded only two goals.
“That data is definitely the merit of the whole team. The first line of defense is our attack and then everyone else. I think all the guys are really doing a very good job and we are aware that in the last few games we don’t allow many shots on our goal, which makes us very happy,” said Karić.

When asked by a journalist whether Rođeni can stay in third place until the end of the autumn part of the season, Rahimić points out:
“In my opinion, this game against Rudar was one of the most important games because after that game we took the third position. What makes me especially happy is the approach of our players in the game, the discipline that prevails as well as the atmosphere that is very positive among the players. I believe that we will win a lot of points in these remaining three games, which would be enough for us to keep this current third position”.
“I want to point out that this is a big thing that we have done in the last few games. I am sure that after taking over the first team I had a lot of luck in my work. I must mention that the former coach Sablić also prepared the team very well before the start of the season, but some things did not agree with him. I constantly followed the team’s training and when I took over the team I made some changes where I saw that we had shortcomings. This especially applies to the approach in the game and in every training session as well as the aggressiveness that I like as a coach. Honestly, I did not believe that he would everyone has a little credit for this success, from the club’s management, our fans, us in the coaching staff, but the biggest credit definitely goes to our players”, concluded the head of the Rođeni coaching staff.
Rođeni goalkeeper Tarik Karić is looking forward to tomorrow’s game and took the opportunity to call the fans.
“Our fans are definitely our twelfth player and on this occasion I invite them to come to the stadium tomorrow, to fill the stands of our stadium and give us the wind at our backs. Their support means a lot to us players and I hope that tomorrow we will all rejoice together,” said the young goalkeeper of Rođeni.
The match of the 17th round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina between Velež and Sarajevo will be played tomorrow starting at 18:30 at the Rođeni stadium.
