The aim of these activities is to respond to the emergency humanitarian and medical needs of the Palestinian population in the destroyed areas. The mentioned initiative is otherwise completed by the humanitarian aid that Doha is already instructed by land, the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
This event was attended by the State Minister of International Cooperation Maryam Bint Ali Bin Nasser Al-Misnad; Ambassador of the State of Qatar in the Hosematic Kingdom of Jordan, Šeik Saud Bin Nasser Bin Jassim Al-Thani, Charity Charity, Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, and representatives of the QTARS Development Fund (QRCS).
Al-Misnad pointed out that since the beginning of the truce in Gaza (19. January 2025), the Qatar state referred 65 trucks to help this Palestinian area through the Jordan border. Complementing this type of humanitarian support, two helicopters will also transport key medical attention to the northern part of Khan Yunis. This activity is realized within the joint cooperation between the Qatar Development Fund, the Qatar Charity Cathartics and Qatar Charity.
The Qatar State provided 20,000 tents, which were shipped from Katar in the Hosemite Kingdom of Jordan, and which through the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), they deliver Palestinians in the northern part of Gaza.
On this occasion, an agreement between Qatar Charity and Jordan Hashememi Charity Organization (JHCO) was signed to facilitate the entry of catar humanitarian aid to the mainland through Jordan.
The agreement ensures coordinated and safe transportation, and distribution of assistance.
