According to the official statement published, the operation was carried out in the Ramen district of the Moscow region, more than 400 kilometers inside Russian territory. The aim was to hit the infrastructure used to transport gasoline, diesel and jet fuel from refineries in Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow, a system that is crucial to Russia’s military and industrial needs.
“All three main lines transporting gasoline, diesel and jet fuel exploded at the same time and were completely disabled,” the HUR statement said.

Despite anti-drone nets and armed security, Ukrainian operatives were able to break through the security measures and launch a precise, synchronized attack. HUR says the destruction is extensive and restoration of capacity could take months, despite attempts by Russian authorities to urgently send special forces and technical teams to the scene.
The oil pipeline, about 400 kilometers long, could annually pump up to three million tons of aviation fuel, 2.8 million tons of diesel and 1.6 million tons of gasoline. By destroying that system, Ukraine, as Kiev claims, dealt a serious blow to Russian military logistics and the economy in the Moscow region, reports Jutarnji list.
The head of Ukraine’s intelligence service, Kirill Budanov, previously stated that such operations “had a greater effect on Russia than all international sanctions combined.”
This operation comes at a time when Ukraine is intensifying a series of coordinated drone and sabotage strikes on Russian territory. During the same night, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that 98 drones were intercepted in ten regions, including 11 over Moscow Oblast, six of which were aimed at the capital, independent Meduza reported.
In parallel with that, the Ukrainian special units of the HUR also carried out an airborne operation near Pokrovskoe in the Donetsk region, one of the fiercest sectors of the battlefield. According to sources of the Ukrainian forces reported by Suspilne, the assault units entered urban areas that the Russian command had previously declared “completely under control”.
