The Ministry of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton was supported by business meetings of the businessmen of this canton, which were held on 30. June in Zenica organized by the Zenica Development Agency – Zeda. More than 60 representatives of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), local communities, institutions and development organizations in the area of Zenica-Doboj Canton participated in these meetings.
The Ministry of Cover of the ZDK recognizes the importance of such events to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic economy, networking of economic entities and promoting existing and future development programs.
In the meeting, the International General BH Fair in ZEPS 2025 were presented, which will take place from 10. by the Corosci – Enterprise Europe Network.
– As a ministry, we are continuously working on improving the business environment, and these meetings are helping businessmen to better inform the available support instruments. In addition to individual programs, we also planned incentives for co-financing the common performances of our companies such as General BiH Sajem ZEPS and the Fair of Economy, said the Minister of Economy ZDK Samir Šibonjić.
The Minister explained that the public invitation to support the development of industrial zones is underway, and emphasized that the Ministry seeks to assist businessmen of the canton to be competitive in all markets.
– You know how to constantly mention old, traditional crafts, which are very important. This year, we provided 1,000 KM in these craft shops, so that I can apply regularly every year – said Sibonjic.
The Ministry calls on all economic entities from the field of cantons to actively participate in the announced public calls and use opportunities to promote their capacities, both domestic and international market.
