After the matches of the 35th round of the WWin League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the first club that leaves the elite rank of the competition is known. It is about the Miners team from Prijedor, which lost its chances of survival.
Rudar played a draw at home against the runner-up of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Zrinjski team (2:2), which mathematically confirmed their relegation to the lower rank, because they can no longer reach Radnik in the standings.
The home team opened the match brilliantly and took the lead in the 5th minute with a goal by Daniel Romera. However, Zrinjski responded quickly and reversed the result thanks to Nemanja Bilbia, who scored in the 33rd and 37th minutes.
However, the miner came back in stoppage time of the first half, when Marcel Ritzmaier scored to make it 2:2.
In the rest of the match, the home team looked for a goal for a complete turnaround, and they got an additional opportunity in the 71st minute when Zrinjski was left with one player less after Leo Mikić was sent off.
Although Rudar briefly scored a goal for 3:2 through Romera, the goal was disallowed after VAR intervention. Not long after, a great opportunity was missed by Gutierrez, who failed to hit the empty net from close range.
At the same time, Sloga won an extremely important 1:0 away game in Posušje. The hero of the match was 20-year-old Sergej Damjanić, who scored three points for the team from Doboj with a goal in the 89th minute.
With this triumph, Sloga remained in the fight for survival and on the eve of the last round, it has three points less than Posušje, but also a better ratio.
Ahead of the end of the championship, the situation is clear – Rudar Prijedor has lost its chances of survival with 30 points won, while Radnik secured survival after a draw with Borce and currently has 35 points. The last round will also decide the remaining outcome of the fight for survival.
